Frank Burns (Larry Linville) försöker få tag på Margaret Houlihan (Loretta Swit) som befinner sig i Tokyo på seminarium. När han äntligen får tag på henne på telefon har hon en lång förklaring till dröjsmålet. Konversationen lyder som följer:

Frank: "Margaret, puss', I've been trying to get you for five hours. Are you all right? Where have you been?"
Margaret: "Oh, well, the nurses' seminar lasted forever. Captain Powers gave a talk on earwax problems in the artillery, Dr. Nyler gave a talk on parastethic rhythm. Last year he nearly won the Nobel Prize for dysentery. And then the author gave a talk on suppositories, the bullet of health."
