The shield

Corrine Mackey (Cathy Cahlin Ryan) kallar hem sin ex-make Vic (Michael Chiklis) för att diskutera något riktigt barnsligt. Hennes nya kille Owen (Vincent Angell), har råkat ut för att någon har ristat in orden "stay away" på hans bil när den stått på garageuppfarten och de konfronterar Vic med informationen. Han är oskyldig och reagerar inte helt lugnt på anklagelsen.

Corrine: "Someone keyed Owen's car. They scratched 'stay away' across the trunk."
Vic: "You think I did it?"
Owen: "It had to have been done last night before I left here."
Vic: "If I wanted you to stay away, I wouldn't scratch it in your little Volvo."
