Jack Donaghys (Alec Baldwin) mor Colleen (Elaine Stritch) har gått bort, och man kan väl lugnt säga att det moderliga bandet mellan Colleen och hennes son har varit... älskvärt, men tufft. Jack ska nu bege sig ner till Florida för att reda ut varför hans mor har lämnat hela huset och allt däri till sin sköterska, Martha, och berättar detta för kollegan Liz Lemon (Tina Fey):

Jack: "I'm heading down to Florida this afternoon to take care of my mother's estate. Fittingly, she left everything to her live-in nurse, Martha... The house I paid for, the silver, my grandfather's purple heart. It's terrible what alcoholism can do to the body."
Liz: "She really didn't leave you anything? That's not very nice. "
Jack: "I loved my mother, Lemon... Obviously, because of Stockholm syndrome. But she was, on her best day, a miserable old crone whose only joy came in sharing her unhappiness with others, even in death."
Liz: "She is the only person in the world to have sarcastic last words."
Jack: "'I just want you to be 'happy'.' Mother, how I 'miss' you."
