Singel i stan

Caroline (Lea Thompson) har ringt och lämnat ett meddelande på Richards (Malcolm Gets) telefonsvarare där hon förklarar sin kärlek till honom. Fyra timmar senare, vilket är mitt i natten, har hon fortfarande inte hört av honom så hon ringer till sin vän Del (Eric Lutes) och vill prata med honom om det. Eftersom det är mitt i natten vill inte Del svara, men Caroline tar till ett säkert knep:

Caroline: "Del? It's me, Caroline. Pick up the phone, Del. Look, I'm sorry to call you at two-oh-eight in the morning, but it's really important. Okay, look, I guess you're sleeping, which is really too bad, because uh, these two Swedish models just moved in upstairs, and..."
Del: "Hello? Caroline, I was sleeping, and I didn't hear your call."
Caroline: "Look Del, four hours ago I left a message on Richard's answering machine telling him I thought we could be more than friends, and if he didn't feel the same way he shouldn't call back..."
Del: "Yeah yeah, Caroline, Caroline, hold it. Just slow down. Let's start from the beginning, okay? Now, these Swedish models, are they sisters?"
