Sound of music

Georg von Trapp (Christopher Plummer) och baronessan Elsa Schraeder (Eleanor Parker) får besök på slottet av deras gode vän Max Detweiler (Richard Haydn) som är talangscout och ute efter nya stjärnor hela tiden. I den här scenen kommer Georg och Elsa fram till altanen där Max sitter och äter sen frukost. Max är väldigt upprörd över att ha blivit snuvad på konfekten gällande ett sånggrupp:

Georg: "Still eating, Max, hm? Tch, tch. Must be unhappy."
Max: "That marvelous mixed quartet I've been trying for months to steal away from Saul Feurock."
Elsa: "What happened, darling?"
Max: "Yesterday, Sascha Petrie stole them first. If there's one thing I hate, it's a thief."
Georg: "But, Max, you really must try and learn to, uh, love yourself."
Max: "For this I had to call Paris, Rome and Stockholm."
Elsa: "On Georg's telephone, of course."
Max: " Well, how else could I afford it?"
