The big bang theory

Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons) och deras kompisar ska åka till San Fransisco för att gå på en vetenskaplig konferens, där bland annat nobelpristagaren George Smoot skall framträda. De berättar för Penny (Kaley Cuoco) att han ska komma och då låter det så här:

Leonard: "The keynote address is delivered by George Smoot."
Penny: "Oh, my God. The George Smoot?"
Leonard: "You've heard of him?"
Penny: "Of course I haven't."
Sheldon: "George Smoot is a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, one of the great minds of our time."

Efter en lång tågresa där de bland annat träffade skådespelerskan Summer Glau, kommer de till San Fransisco och där inleder Sheldon en konversation med nobelpristagaren:

Sheldon: "So I'm thinking you won the Nobel Prize, what, three years ago so you must deal with a whole lot of 'What has Smoot done lately?'. My thought is we continue my research as a team, you know Cooper-Smoot, alphabetical, and when we win the Nobel Prize, you'll be back on top."
George: "With all due respect, Dr. Cooper, are you on crack?"
Sheldon: "Fine. Smoot-Cooper. Wow, what a diva."
