Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) kommer in på baren och är helt exalterad. Det visar sig att han har blivit utsedd till att undervisa på Bolognas universitet, men innan dess hinner Cliff (John Ratzenberger), Diane (Shelley Long) och Norm (George Wendt) gissa på alltifrån Pulitzerpriset till Nobelpriset:

Frasier: "I have been awarded an honour that's surpasses anything I could have hoped to achieve at this point of my career. It goes beyond even my most wild and ambitious dreams."
Cliff: "Hey, Doc, what are we talking here? Nobel prize?"
Frasier: "No, we're not talking Nobel prize?"
Norm: "What? Pulitzer? Come on."
Frasier: "No, I didn't win the Pulitzer Prize."
Diane: "Oh, a Guggenheim Fellowship."
Frasier: "No, it's not a Guggenheim Fellowship."
Cliff: "Well, what did you win? A canned ham? You lost all the big ones."
